空头吞噬
由两根K线组成，前一根是较短的阳线，后一根是较长的阴线，并且阴线的实体部分完全覆盖阳线的实体部分。空头吞噬的意思是，向上动力衰竭，空方抛售开始。由于单日大跌，形成巨大的心理压力，是市场下跌的开始。如果阴线伴随放量，往往杀伤力巨大。
确认原则
①第二个实体柱必须完全吞噬前一个的实体柱，而阴影则不用考虑进去。
②价格必须已经处于上涨的趋势。
③第二个实体柱的颜色必须与前一个的实体柱颜色相反，而且前一天实体住的颜色必须与其以前趋势的颜色相同。
形态所蕴涵的心理
如果一个上涨的趋势已经发生了，那么开盘价就会比前一天的收盘价高，在当天交易要结束之前，卖者已经将价格降至前一天的开盘价之下了。它反映一个清楚的不好的预兆。
