拼多多24日股价大涨12%，报39.96美元，市值达464亿美元，今年累计涨幅达78%；京东周四股价跌0.13%，报30.72美元，市值报448亿美元不敌拼多多。目前拼多多在中国互联网上市公司市值排名中位列第4，仅次于阿里、腾讯和美团。
10月10日晚，在拼多多四周年庆的动员会上，CEO黄峥表示，拼多多真实支付GMV已经超过京东。早前在2018年拼多多上市前的员工大会上，黄峥曾说过未来三年要在GMV上超过京东，已经比预计提前了两年。此外在谈及“二选一”时，黄峥称面对二选一的压力，拼多多不应该有压力，该有压力的是友商，暗指阿里巴巴。
