英国首相梅提议提前大选 “软脱欧”趋势再次抬头
英国首相梅于本周二(4月18日)在唐宁街10号发表声明称，计划在6月8日提前大选。
目前还不清楚这一转折将如何影响英国的脱欧进程，不过能购预见的是，这一计划或将推迟脱欧谈判。
从政治的角度上看来，提前大选或将引起权力的进一步巩固。梅呼吁选民给予其政府与欧盟谈判的命令。目前脱欧已经不再具有疑问，里斯本条约第50条已经启动。
不过提前进行大选或将“硬脱欧”和“软脱欧”之争再次提上桌面。梅表示，其政府有一“让英国重新夺回其对于本国法律和边境的控制权”的计划。
由于反对党反对这项计划，梅似乎采取了严厉措施，以确保获得英国人民的授权。在4月中旬的最新民意调查中，工党(labor)落后于梅所领导的保守党21分，这是自撒切尔夫人(margaret thatcher)之后，保守党所获得的最高支持率。
自由民主党(liberal democrats)和工党有可能采取更为柔和的脱欧路线，不过他们的势力目前是微不足道的。
