据FX678观察，英国首相特雷莎·梅将于周三(3月29日)宣布启动《里斯本条约》第50条，正式开启“英国脱欧”程序，巴克莱资本(Barclays Capital)指出，随着“英国脱欧”不确定性的消退，被低估的英镑将迎来强劲上涨行情。具体观点如下。
尽管市场已广泛预期英国宣布启动《里斯本条约》第50条，英镑对此的反应料有限，但未来数月英镑或迎来“卖预期，买事实”的上涨行情。

该行认为，英镑兑美元二季度末、三季度末和四季度末目标分别上看1.30、1.31和1.32。
