英镑兑美元逼近1.25 因英国通胀率或超过央行目标2%
——英镑3月21日跳涨超过1%至逾三周最高位，因部分投资人预计通胀快速攀升，可能迫使英国央行较预期更早加息。
英国公布数据显示，2月通胀率超过英国央行2%的目标，为2013年底以来首见。2月消费者物价指数(CPI)同比上涨2.3%，涨幅超过预估的2.1%，也远高于1月的增长1.8%。
英镑兑美元高见1.2495美元，因投资人对英国央行加息的预期提前。
英国央行总裁卡尼表示，不要对一个月的数据反应过度很重要。尽管上月有一位货币政策委员会委员投票支持加息，但多数决策者指出，薪资增长非常缓慢，是维持利率不变的理由。
英国截至1月的三个月失业率意外降至逾十年最低，但薪资增长恶化，在英国开始退欧磋商前，这样的数据让人无法对经济前景抱有很大的希望。
英镑兑普遍走强的欧元也攀升，上扬近0.5%，报0.8655。
