有三种情况，摆动指数最具效用。这三种情况对绝大多数摆动指数说都是共同的。
1.当摆动指数的值到上边界或下边界的极限值时，最有意义。如果它接近上边界，市场就处于所谓“超买状态”;如果它接近下边界，市场就处于所谓“超卖状态”。这两种读数都是警讯，表示市场趋势走的太远，开始有些脆弱起来。
2.单摆动指数处于极限位置，并且摆动指数与价格变化之间出现了相互背离现象时，通常构成重要的预警信号。
3.如果摆动指数顺着市场趋势的方向穿越零线，可能是重要的买卖信号。
当然在一个新的趋势初期也会给我们很多的误导。不过只要符合上面的三点你大可按照指标给我们的方向去做前提是止损跟上。
