南非央行：维持指标利率不变 暗示紧缩周期即将结束
南非央行周四（9月22日）维持利率在7%不变，这是该央行今年第3次维持利率稳定，经济增长的疲弱前景抵消了对通胀的担忧。
南非央行表示，南非经济增长前景依然不乐观，但将今年经济增幅预估上调至0.4%，之前该行曾表示经济将保持在停滞状态。
南非央行维持利率不变之后，南非兰特失守了由美联储（Fed）维持利率不变助推的涨幅。目前兰特兑美元下跌0.5%至13.6400水平。
与此同时，南非指标2026年到期公债上涨，触及8月19日以来最高水平。
此外据至外媒调查的28位经济学家中，有24位预测南非央行维持利率不变，余下的其他经济学家预测该行加息25个基点。
南非央行行长甘亚格接受外媒采访时称，“鉴于通胀预期改善、低迷的国内经济前景以及对风险的综合评估，货币政策委员会（MPC）一致决定维持回购利率不变。”
甘亚格并称，“南非央行MPC认为，如果当前的这些预测成真，我们可能接近结束紧缩周期。”
