据美国“商业内幕”网站8月10日报道，受厄尔尼诺现象的影响，越南今年出现三十年不遇的干旱，这也成为越南无法实现既定经济目标的重要因素，但汇丰银行的报告显示，除农业外，干旱对越南其他领域的冲击并不大。
据报道，越南2016年上半年的经济增长率为5.5%，距既定目标6.7%还相差甚远。外界对越南2016年下半年的经济走势并不十分看好。越南总理阮春福甚至表示，很难在2016年下半年实现必要的经济扩张。
据报道，尽管干旱是经济增长低迷的因素之一，但其冲击大多只局限在农业方面。农业在越南总体经济中占13%，农业领域劳动者也在总劳动人口中占一半左右。虽然此次干旱不仅使农业产量下降了0.8%，同时也可能会抑制农业领域劳动者的消费能力，但汇丰银行的研究报告显示，仍有很多迹象表明越南经济有很好的发展前景。报告显示，除农业外，越南其他行业均呈现良好态势。其中制造业和建筑业在2016年上半年分别上涨了10%和接近9%。另外，世界银行预测《泛太平洋伙伴关系协定》若能顺利签订，越南国民生产总值将有望到2030年增长10%。（来源：环球财经）
