北京时间周四(8月11日)05:00新西兰联储将公布8月利率决定，周三(8月10日)巴克莱银行(Barclays)发表了对此次会议的前瞻，具体如下。
新西兰联储8月料降息25点至2%。在7月21日公布的经济情势更新中，新西兰联储暗示未来数月将需进一步货币宽松，称“将需实施进一步政策宽松，以确保未来平均通胀维持在目标区间中部附近”。
新西兰联储并强调纽元加权贸易指数高出6月预期水平6%，虽然房价通胀“过高”，但强劲纽元将不仅拖累出口需求，也将拉低贸易商品的通货膨胀。因此新西兰联储称，“纽元汇率需下跌”。
由于两年通胀预期徘徊于多年低点，且二季度私营薪资报告疲软，新西兰联储料分别于8月和第四季度降息。
考虑到市场充分计价新西兰联储8月降息25点，预计纽元对降息的反应将温和。不过若鸽派货币政策声明更明显暗示未来数月将进一步降息，可能加重纽元颓势。
