摩根大通周一(8月1日)在报告中称，分别下调今年三季度布伦特原油以及美国原油(WTI)的价格预估，因预期需求将下降且供应将上升。
摩根大通将2016年三季度的布伦特原油价格预估下调至每桶48美元，并将美国原油价格预估下调至每桶47美元。不过，该行维持布伦特原油9月底将达到每桶50美元的预期不变。
周二亚市尾盘，美国原油期货上涨0.30%，报每桶40.17美元，该合约周一曾收跌3.7%，盘中一度下探每桶39.82美元的近4个月低位。另外，布伦特原油周二上扬0.38%，报每桶42.30美元，该合约周一亦收跌2.29%。
关于调降油价展望的原因，摩根大通指出，“我们做出上述价格调整因预期未来需求增速将出现下降，且石油输出国组织(OPEC)的供给将上升。”
著名船运经纪公司豪罗宾逊最新报告认为，中东波斯湾上半年原油出口量达1760万桶/日，创2012年以来最高，其中伊拉克和伊朗供应是供应增多的最大推动，加拿大山火导致美国对中东原油产生大量需求，美国目前平均已进口原油780万桶/日，是四年来最高。（来源：晋盟大宗快讯）
