【外资行交易员：人民币沽空潮正卷土重来】受耶伦讲话影响，截至7日20时，离岸市场人民币兑美元汇率徘徊在6.5721，单日跌幅接近66个基点。外资行交易员称：“主要是5月份中国外汇储备降幅大于市场预期，令多数投资机构认为随着美元加息步伐临近，人民币沽空潮正卷土重来。”易纲表示，若美国经济改善，意味着需求改善，其实有利于中国经济发展。当然，若美国经济强劲，资本会流回美国，很多人会担心资本流动，中国央行必须关注其对货币政策的影响。
