This Tuesday morning, Australia's data showed that retail sales grew 0.2% on month in February (vs +0.5% expected). Tomorrow, February CPI indicator will be expected at 7.6% on month. AUD is under pressure.

The American Petroleum Institute reported that the U.S. crude oil stockpiles dropped 6.076 million barrels for the week ending March 24, compared with an expected increase of 0.187 million barrels. The U.S. Energy Information Administration will report official crude inventories for the same period later in the day, with a build of 0.092 million barrels expected.

Before the bell, futures are rebounding after they closed slightly lower yesterday.

Earlier this Tuesday, the Reserve Bank of Australia left its main rates unchanged at 3.6%, as expected. It added that a range of data suggests that inflation has peaked. AUD is consolidating.
