U.S. WTI crude futures slumped 2.9% to $61.66 a barrel on last Friday due to the rise of U.S. dollar. Baker Hughes reported that the total number of rotary rigs in the U.S. rose to 402 as of February 26, from 397 in the prior week , while rigs in Canada dropped to 163 from 172.
