周四，英国央行追随全球加息浪潮，加息25基点，将政策利率从0.75%上调至1%，符合预期。
这是英国央行今年第四次升息，以应对不断飙升的通胀。至此，英国利率已升至2009年以来的最高水平。
值得注意的是，英国央行警告经济在两位数通胀压力下正在走向收缩。
英国3月份CPI数据显示，英国通胀率正以30年来最快的速度上升，部分由于乌克兰危机，能源和食品价格飙升。
英国央行警告称，由于英国能源价格上限再提高约40%，物价上涨的速度将进一步加快，10月通胀率预计将突破10%。
央行预计，2022年薪资增速将升至5.75%，远高于2月的展望，然后在接下来两年下降。
