JAKARTA - Menteri BUMN Erick Thohir mendorong klub sepak bola untuk melakukan penawaran umum perdana atau initial public offering (IPO) di Bursa Efek Indonesia.
Menurutnya, langkah tersebut dapat memperkuat bisnis perusahaan-perusahaan bola di Indonesia. Strategi IPO juga dinilai dapat membantu pendanaan klub.

"Ya harus (IPO), itu bagian dalam membangun industri olahraga," kata Erick saat ditemui selepas acara Investor Appreciaton Sinarmas Asset Management, Jakarta Pusat, Kamis (19/1/2023).
Saat ini masih terdapat satu emiten klub bola yang tercatat di BEI, yakni PT Bali Bintang Sejahtera Tbk (BOLA), perusahaan pemilik sekaligus pengelola Bali United.
