FOLLOWME Top GEM Signals - Profit/Loss Ratio

Finding the right Signal to copy trade can be tricky and painful sometimes. With the dynamic filtering and sorting functions on FOLLOWME Signal tab, you can choose one best suit your preferences in terms of winning rate, subscribers, profit amount, following amount and more!

To help you start off, we will break down these criteria and explain why they should matter to you. And of course, we will list down the top Signals under the respective criteria every week!

So this week, let’s talk about profit/loss (P/L) ratio. You have probably heard of this term many settings, especially at a corporate setting.

As straight forward as it sounds, a P/L ratio is a scorecard for an active trader with a single goal: Maximize trading gains. The profit/loss ratio is the average profit on winning trades divided by the average loss on losing trades over a specified time period.

Why is this important?

Obviously, the higher the ratio, the better the Signal is at trading. Many trading books call for at least a 2:1 ratio but consistency also plays a critical role. If a Signal is always jumping from one ratio to another within a short span of time, it indicates a higher risk of sustaining his strategy.

A good trader always has several strategies in place including a risk-control setting to optimise his capital. That means, a good trader makes sure he optimises his capital on the trades he/she is confident of winning and set a cap on the trades with higher risk. With the P/L ratio, it tells you the performance of the Signal as a whole instead of each trade they made.

On FOLLOWME, you can choose to filter Signals based on these four P/L ratios: 0.5, 1, 1.5 or 2.

Here are the top THREE Signals with the highest P/L ratio at 2 and number of subscribers:

Similar to the previous Signal, @紫林云 has a strong winning rate of 93.93%. However, we noticed that he hasn’t been having any luck in his trades this new year yet, so hopefully, he can turn it around in time before his subscribers start to get restless.

That’s all for this week’s GEM SIGNALS highlights! There are definitely more to consider when it comes to picking the right Signal to follow so please stay tuned to our upcoming GEM SIGNALS highlights every week.
