Guide for Signal Provider

FOLLOWME Signal Provider

Glossary

"Signal provider" is a user of FOLLOWME's "Trader" role (referred to as "Trader"). They trade with real accounts, and their trading results are counted by FOLLOWME and published on the website. Each trading order in the trader's account is sent to all FOLLOWME's demo or real trading accounts in the form of signals.

"Signal subscriber" are users in the "Follower" role of FOLLOWME (referred to as "Follower"). Followers who have chosen to subscribe to trader’s signals will automatically perform trading operations in their demo or real trading accounts of their Broker.

Since the trading orders of traders and followers are executed by various Broker platforms with different trading interfaces and configurations, some problems cannot be avoided during copytrading. A typical example is the loss of signal. Loss of signal means that due to various reasons including but not limited to network delays, trading disable of Brokers and unmatched trading symbols, etc., the trader may close the position of his/her account, but one or more followers may continue to hold positions in their real trading account. This problem may lead to different trading results between traders and followers ——for example, although the trader makes profit by closing the position, the follower will eventually lose money when the position closed because it is not closed in time in the follower's account. However, the follower should be able to monitor and close positions when signal is lossing. Followers can re-adjust the relevant setting of traders through FOLLOWME account management page or trade manually.

For risk management purposes, FOLLOWME may restrict traders from being copied by followers in case they do not comply with trading rules.

Apply for becoming a trader

Any FOLLOWME user can apply to become a trader and earn subscription fee, as long as you have a real MT4 trading account connected to FOLLOWME and pass the real-name authentication and qualification test.

FOLLOWME’s real-name authentication requires that the creator of the MT4 trading account must be consistent with the identity information of the creator of the FOLLOWME account.

The competition is fierce. The FOLLOWME trading community and ranking formula continue to rank according to the traders’performance, so only the best traders can appear at the top of the signal list.

Once you become a trader, you can’t no longer become a follower role to subscribe to trading signals. As long as there is no following position in the follower’s account and the subscription relationship is cancelled, the follower’s account can directly apply to become a trader.

Only trading accounts that meet the following conditions can appear on the SIGNAL:

  1. MT4 trading accounts of the popular Brokers in FOLLOWME;

  2. There is at least one closed order/ holding position in last 13 weeks;

  3. The account equity is not less than 2,000 USD;

  4. The closed P/L is not less than 0 USD;
