英国财政大臣和央行行长互相推锅的行为让市场失去了信心。财政部长指责英国的通胀就是在前几任zf期间堆起来的，而央行至少要承担主要责任。英央行则认为自己是为了配合脱欧期间的zf的财政任务（对很多行业进行了补贴）才导致通胀，现在正是抑制通胀的时刻，财政部减税+发债反而会大大增加通胀。市场在两者的分歧中失去信心。
如果英镑危机想要结束，两者必须配合给予市场信心，此刻闹出问题只会使得经济不稳定。难的是怎么做到这一点，把碗打破容易，修好或者重新做个碗难度很大。我的建议是两者需要共同出席会议（就像去年10月美联储鲍威尔和财长耶伦做的那样），然后指出抑制通胀仍然是主要任务，而目的是保证英国经济健康和韧性，以及为了恢复英国经济而努力。
如果英镑继续贬值，那么供给侧通胀会被推高，不仅央行的目标无法实现，国外投资减少则英国财政计划也将无法实现。至少眼下，我认为新供给学派的做法太过激进（新供给学派指的是中国目前流行的经济学派，主张控制供给达成宏观调控，如通过土地供给控制房价、在企业生产端控制成本等主张。）
