谷歌有望成為2021年至今為止表現最好的科技巨頭。控股公司Alphabet截至週一（27日）收盤價為2958.13美元，今年上漲了68%，市值超過了1.95萬億美元。值得一提的是，Alphabet的絕大部分收入均來自於谷歌的廣告業務，這有賴於疫情下消費者越來越多地湧向網路和移動搜索、地圖以及YouTube視頻。
在2021年只剩下一週的情況下，美股市場其他幾家科技巨頭幾乎不可能追上這一漲幅。目前微軟公司Microsoft以及特斯拉Tesla的漲幅最為接近，今年至今股價上漲51%。蘋果公司Apple為33%，Meta Platforms Inc上漲23%，亞馬遜Amazon的表現最差，今年至今漲幅僅為5%。
