Morning market update 19 11 2021:
ETHUSD & BTCUSD turned lower in the US session whilst the EURUSD & GBPUSD made a move higher as the DXY pulled back and is currently trading at 95.50. GBP has Core Retail Sales and Retail Sales at 15:00 GMT+8 and with a move lower on the DXY buying opportunities will be possible if the sales data comes out better than expected. ECB President Lagarde is speaking at 16:30 GMT+8 although not likely to move markets much, at 21:30 GMT+8 tonight US Building Permits for Oct and Retail Sales for CAD with a lower expected result compared with last month. Keeping the USDCAD on watch as price is trading just below the 1.2613 resistance level offering buying opportunities if the CAD sales data comes out worse than expected.
