据彭博社报道，4 支 BTC ETF 有望在 10 月底得到美国证券交易委员会（SEC）的批准。SEC 或将于 10 月底决定是批准、拒绝还是延迟此类 ETF 的上市申请。彭博 ETF 分析师 James Seyffart 表示，其认为批准的可能性很大，「SEC 及其主席 Gensler 没理由在 9 月底对基于 1940 年法律的 BTC 期货 ETF 发表了积极评论后，又在不到一个月后做出相反的决定。
就在数日前，SEC 刚刚批准了 Volt Crypto Industry Revolution and Tech ETF （Volt Crypto 行业革命及技术 ETF），该基金 80% 的持股将分配给被定义为持有大部分 BTC 净资产或收入大部分来自 BTC 矿业、借贷或交易的实体。这也被市场认为是 BTC ETF 的前奏。
