欧元兑英镑昨日收盘上下波动起伏不定后整体小幅下跌，今日开盘维持在0.8508水平，因英欧经济数据普遍利差，导致英欧货币双双难以突破上行。
周三英国10年期盈亏平衡通胀率一度攀升至4.08%，创13年以来新高，主要通胀攀升的原因是英国天然气价格飙升，进而后续将可能影响到消费价格上，这也使得市场对央行加息的看法逐步加深。日前货币市场预计英国央行将可能在今年12月加息，随后在明年2月和5月分别上调至0.25%和0.5%，如果按照以上加息进程话，这将会是三年来的首次加息。
昨日财经事件数据方面，欧盟统计局(Istat)公布欧洲区8月零售销售年月率分别比预期值减少至0%和0.3%，反映出消费者支出零售产品仍处保守。在建筑业方面，市场研究机构Markit公布德国9月建筑业采购经理人指数PMI比前值上升至47.1，而英国PMI则下跌至52.6，显示出德国建筑活动比英国较强劲，不过德国经济部公布8月制造业订单年月率低至预期至11.7%和-7.7%。
从上方压制(上方阻力) 0.8500，0.8560；从下行方向看，下方支撑0.8470。
