A car bomb exploded in the parking lot of a luxury hotel in Quetta, capital of Pakistan's southwestern Baluchistan province, Sunday night, killing 4 people and injuring 12 others, the People's Daily reported. According to Reuters, The Guardian and other foreign media on the 22nd, Pakistan's Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad said that the Chinese ambassador to Pakistan was staying at the hotel that day, but had already gone out to attend the event.
