Harga Emas Dunia Terus Melesat, Pertanda Apa?
IDXChannel - Harga emas dunia kembali merekah ke USD1908,34 per troy ounce dalam perdagangan di pasar Eropa, Selasa (17/1/2023).
Pengamat Pasar Uang Ibrahim Assuaibi mengatakan, harga emas kali ini melayang tertinggi karena investor semakin khawatir dengan munculnya tanda-tanda resesi.
"Pasar sedang menunggu pembacaan kunci pada inflasi dari zona euro dan Inggris, serta data penjualan ritel dan produksi industri AS, untuk mengukur apakah ekonomi terbesar dunia menghadapi potensi perlambatan karena kondisi moneter yang ketat," terang Ibrahim dalam rilis hariannya, Selasa (17/1/2023).
Lebih lanjut, pertemuan kebijakan Bank of Japan pada hari Rabu juga menjadi fokus, setelah bank sentral secara tak terduga mengeluarkan nada hawkish selama pertemuan bulan Desember. Menurutnya, langkah tersebut sangat membebani dolar dan sedikit mendukung harga komoditas.
