Microsoft Izinkan Lagi Warga Rusia Unduh dan Instal Windows
MOSKOW, iNews.id – Microsoft mengizinkan kembali warga Rusia untuk mengunduh dan menginstal sistem operasi Windows beserta pembaruannya. Hal itu terungkap lewat laporan surat kabar Izvestia pada Selasa (27/12/2022), dengan mengutip sejumlah spesialis IT.
Pada September, Microsoft membatasi para pengguna Rusia untuk memperbarui komputer mereka ke versi terbaru sistem operasi Windows 11. Sejak itu, orang-orang Rusia yang mencoba mengunduh versi terbaru Windows di situs web Microsoft, hanya melihat jendela kosong terbuka. Sementara bagian situs web tentang penginstalan versi sistem operasi yang diperbarui tidak tersedia.
Menurut laporan Izvestia, Microsoft kini mengizinkan lagi warga Rusia untuk mengunduh pembaruan terbaru Windows. Halaman perangkat lunak di situs web resmi perusahaan dapat dimuat lagi tanpa harus menggunakan VPN.
Pengguna sekarang dapat menginstal versi terbaru sistem operasi Windows 11— 22H2—serta Windows 10, Windows 8.1, dan Windows 7.
