Saham Apple dan Amazon Anjlok, Wall Street Ikut Tumbang
IDXChannel - Wall Street kembali ditutup melemah dengan S&P 500 berakhir turun pada perdagangan Selasa (29/11/2022) waktu setempat.
Hal itu didorong oleh anjloknya saham Apple dan Amazon menjelang pidato Ketua Federal Reserve AS Jerome Powell terkait arah kenaikan suku bunga.
Mengutip Reuters, Rabu (30/11/2022), S&P 500 turun 0,16% untuk mengakhiri sesi di 3.957,60 poin. Sedangkan Nasdaq turun 0,59% menjadi 10.983,78 poin, sementara Dow Jones Industrial Average naik 0,01% menjadi 33.852,13 poin.
Investor juga fokus pada protes baru-baru ini terhadap pembatasan Covid-19 di China, termasuk di pabrik iPhone terbesar di dunia. Adapun Saham Apple (AAPL.O) turun 2,1%, melemah untuk sesi keempat berturut-turut.
"Tidak ada yang mau membeli sebelum besok dengan Powell berbicara. Semua orang gugup dengan apa yang akan dia katakan," kata Ron Saba, manajer portofolio senior di Horizon Investments di Charlotte.
