Kenaikan Bunga Acuan Belum Cukup Jaga Rupiah

KONTAN.CO.ID -JAKARTA. Rupiah masih belum mampu mengimbangi dolar Amerika Serikat (AS). Padahal, Bank Indonesia (BI) baru saja mengerek bunga acuan sebesar 50 basis poin menjadi 5,25%.
Terbukti, nilai tukar rupiah masih tertekan di akhir perdagangan pekan kemarin. Pada penutupan perdagangan Jumat (18/11), rupiah di pasar spot ditutup pada level
Rp 15.864 per dolar AS.
