Uni Eropa (UE) telah membekukan aset senilai 13,8 miliar euro atau US$ 13,83 miliar yang dipegang oleh oligarki, individu dan entitas-entitas Rusia lain yang dikenai sanksi atas perang Moskow melawan Ukraina. Dengan begitu, sejauh ini UE mencatatkan 98 entitas dan hampir 1.160 individu dalam daftar hitam terkait dengan sanksi.
Namun sebagian besar pembekuan aset itu berasal dari lima negara anggota UE. Pejabat tinggi kehakiman blok tersebut tidak mengidentifikasi lima negara yang dimaksud. Sementara total anggota Uni Eropa mencapai 27 negara.
