Bersiap, Inflasi April Bisa Lampaui Angka 1%

KONTAN.CO.ID-JAKARTA. Sekali lagi, masyarakat perlu bersiap dengan potensi lonjakan inflasi bulan ini. Kenaikan sejumlah harga yang diatur pemerintah, tambah lagi dengan potensi kenaikan permintaan di bulan Ramadan dan menjelang Idul Fitri, bakal menyulut inflasi April secara signifikan.
Pada Maret saja, inflasi bulanan tercatat 0,66% month on month (mom) atau secara tahunan sebesar 2,64% year on year (yoy). Menurut Kepala Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Margo Yuwono, inflasi bulanan Maret merupakan inflasi tertinggi sejak Mei 2019 sebesar 0,68%. Sementara inflasi tahunan Maret merupakan yang tertinggi semenjak April 2020 sebesar 2,67%. "Dari pemantauan BPS di 90 kota, di Maret terdapat 88 kota mengalami inflasi, sedangkan dua kota mengalami deflasi," ungkap dia, Jumat (1/4).
