KONTAN.CO.ID - TOKYO. Varian Omicron dari Virus Corona mendorong rekor infeksi baru di Jepang. Oleh karenanya negara tersebut siap memperluas pembatasan Covid-19 ke Tokyo dan selusin wilayah yang mencakup setengah populasi pada Hari Rabu (19/1).
Langkah-langkah pembatasan Covid-19 akan berlangsung mulai Jumat besok hingga 13 Februari 2022. Setelah mendapatkan persetujuan dari panel ahli, rencana itu diharapkan disetujui oleh Perdana Menteri Fumio Kishida.
