Produksi Padi di Food Estate Kalteng Mulai Meningkat

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. Kementerian Pertanian (Kementan) mengklaim sentra produksi pangan nasional atau food estate di Kalimantan Tengah (Kalteng) yang jalan sejak tahun 2020, telah menghasilkan produk pangan dalam dua kali musim tanam.
Pada tahun 2020, Kemtan sudah melaksanakan penanaman padi seluas 30.000 hektare (ha) yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Kapuas seluas 20.000 ha, dan Kabupaten Pulang Pisau 10.000 ha. Program tersebut mendapatkan hasil produksi 114.611 ton gabah kering giling (GKG), dari 97,8% luas lahan yang telah dipanen.
