JAKARTA - Sistem e-IPO dinilai bisa melindungi investor dari cornering harga saham. Kebijakan E-IPO menjadi salah satu upaya regulator memberikan perlindungan kepada investor.
“E-IPO menghindari cornering atau harga yang tidak wajar,” kata Deputi Komisioner Pengawas Pasar Modal I Otoritas Jasa Keuangan Djustini Septiana, Jumat (17/12/2021).

Menurutnya, sistem tersebut mampu meningkatan transparansi pembentukan harga pada penawaran umum dan memperluas basis investor di pasar perdana melalui e-IPO. Djustini menambahkan e-IPO juga ikut berkontribusi dalam menambah jumlah investor.

OJK, lanjutnya, juga meningkatkan distribusi channeling produk investasi pasar modal dan memperluas jaringan pemasaran melalui perusahaan fintech.
