美国贸易逆差在9月份扩大至创纪录水平，主因进口回升和出口下降。
美国商务部周四公布的数据显示，9月份商品和服务贸易逆差增长11.2%至809亿美元，8月份修正后为728亿美元。外媒对经济学家进行的调查中值为逆差802亿美元。
9月商品和服务进口增长0.6%至2885亿美元，美国当月消费品和资本设备进口分别增加7亿美元和25亿美元。9月出口则下降3%至2076亿美元，因黄金和原油出口减少。
9月份贸易逆差的扩大意味着当季贸易继续拖累GDP。净出口让第三季经济增长率减少1.14个百分点。以下是更多细节：
