BI Borong Obligasi Negara Sekitar Rp 140 Triliun

KONTAN.CO.ID-JAKARTA. Peran Bank Indonesia (BI) dalam membantu pemerintah mendanai APBN semakin besar guna mengurangi dampak pandemi Covid-19. Hal tersebut dilakukan BI lewat pembelian surat berharga negara (SBN).
Gubernur BI Perry Warjiyo mengatakan, hingga 17 September 2021, bank sentral sudah melakukan pembelian SBN di pasar perdana sebesar Rp 139,84 triliun. Jumlah tersebut, terdiri pembelian SBN melalui mekanisme lelang utama sebesar Rp 64,38 triliun. "Rp 75,46 triliun melalui greenshoe option (GSO)," ujar Perry, Selasa (21/9).
