蒙古国首次报告动物感染新冠病毒病例
当地时间9月17日，据蒙古国媒体报道，经过治疗和护理，在该国首都乌兰巴托附近河狸自然保护区内感染新冠病毒的51只河狸中，目前有47只已经治愈，另有4只死亡。据悉，这是蒙古国出现的首例“人传动物”新冠肺炎案例，也是世界上河狸感染新冠病毒的首例案例。
蒙古国国家人畜共患病研究中心研究员乌央嘎称，8月份，在乌兰巴托附近河狸自然保护区内饲养的河狸曾出现新冠肺炎症状。此前，在该自然保护区工作的几名饲养员经核酸检测被确诊为新冠肺炎病例。这表明，河狸是通过饲养员感染上新冠病毒的。研究人员挑选其中症状尤为明显的7只河狸，对它们进行了核酸检测，结果均呈阳性。被感染的河狸曾一度出现咳嗽、流鼻涕、发烧等不同症状。
目前，蒙古国尚未出现其他动物感染新冠病毒的病例报告。
