Premi Asuransi Marine Cargo Belum Bisa Terangkat

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. Bisnis asuransi marine cargo masih belum bisa berlari kencang. Meskipun aktivitas ekspor maupun impor mulai bangkit dari kontraksi yang dalam di tahun lalu akibat pandemi Covid-19, kinerja premi asuransi marine cargo belum bangkit.
Mengutip data Asosiasi Asuransi Umum Indonesia (AAUI), perolehan premi dari marine cargo selama enam bulan pertama tahun ini sebesar Rp 1,82 triliun. Pencapaian tersebut mencerminkan penurunan 0,7% dari capaian premi di periode sama tahun lalu sebesar Rp 1,83 triliun.
Padahal, aktivitas ekspor-impor di Indonesia yang turut berkontribusi besar terhadap kinerja lini bisnis asuransi ini mulai menunjukkan kebangkitan. Per Juli 2021, BPS mencatat pertumbuhan nilai ekspor dan impor yang masing-masing sebesar 29,32% dan 44,44% secara tahunan.
