BI Buka Opsi Kerjasama Kembangkan Uang Digital

KONTAN.CO.ID-JAKARTA. Bank Indonesia (BI) tengah mengembangkan mata uang digital bank sentral atau Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). Hingga kini, BI masih meneliti sebelum melakukan uji coba.
Saat ini, ada beberapa bank sentral di dunia sudah akan melakukan uji coba CBDC. Teranyar, bank sentral Australia, Singapura, Malaysia dan Afrika Selatan akan menguji coba pembayaran lintas batas menggunakan CBDC.
