Insentif Pajak Mobil Listrik AS Tuai Kecaman

KONTAN.CO.ID - WASHINGTON. Parlemen Amerika Serikat (AS) bakal mengesahkan Rancangan Undang-Undang (RUU) anggaran bernilai US$ 3,5 triliun pada Selasa (14/9) mendatang. Salah satu usulan pembahasan mengenai insentif pajak bagi produsen kendaraan listrik.
Bila rancangan beleid itu disahkan, kendaraan listrik hasil buatan serikat pekerja di AS akan mendapat insentif pajak tambahan sebesar US$ 4.500. Proposal kebijakan yang datang dari Partai Demokrat AS itu mendapat kecaman Toyota Motor Corp dan Honda Motor Co, mengutip Reuters, Minggu(12/9).
Toyota menyebut rencana itu sebagai bentuk mendiskriminasi terhadap para pekerja mobil di AS yang tidak berniat untuk bergabung dalam satu organisasi pekerja. Terlebih,
