KONTAN.CO.ID - LAUNCESTON. Tatkala harga bijih besi merosot di Asia, harga batubara kokas menuju ke arah yang berlawanan. Pendorong kenaikan harga batubara kokas yakni larangan China atas aktivitas impor dari Australia dan kesulitan pasokan.
Kontrak batubara kokas yang diperdagangkan di Singapura dan berdasarkan harga spot kargo Australia, berakhir di level US$ 274 per ton pada Hari Senin. Harga itu tepat di bawah penutupan perdagangan pada 3 September 2021 yakni US$ 274,33 yang merupakan harga tertinggi sejak April 2017.
