美国劳工部发布就业报告 8月份就业增长率大幅下降
当地时间9月3日，根据美国劳工部发布的就业报告，美国8月增加23.5万个工作岗位，就业增长率与6月份增加的96.2万人和7月份增加的105万人相比大幅下降。据专家分析，新冠疫情正在抑制美国就业增长率。
报告显示，美国的失业率从7月份的5.4%降至5.2%。尽管失业率有所下降，但目前工作职位空缺人数仍处于创纪录水平。此外，美国劳工部的数据是在8月的第二周收集的，因此可能不包含飓风“亨利”和“艾达”的影响。
对此，牛津经济研究院经济学家莉迪亚·布苏尔 (Lydia Boussour) 在一份研究报告中写道，“我们认为，受德尔塔变异毒株迅速蔓延的影响，工人重返工作岗位的意愿会被抑制，导致一些公司即将暂停招聘。”许多专家预计美国本季度经济增长率将持续下降。
