BI Kembali Menomboki Beban Utang Pemerintah Tahun Depan

KONTAN.CO.ID-JAKARTA. Pemerintah dan Bank Indonesia (BI) bakal meneruskan kerjasama pembagian beban alias burden sharing pembiayaan penanganan pandemi Covid-19 pada tahun depan. Hal ini juga dilakukan dalam rangka meminimalisasi dampak negatif lonjakan utang pemerintah terhadap daya tahan fiskal.
Dalam dokumen rapat kerja antara Kementerian Keuangan (Kemkeu), BI dan Komisi XI DPR RI yang digelar secara tertutup yang diterima KONTAN, pembelian surat berharga negara (SBN) oleh BI untuk anggaran 2022 dipatok sebesar Rp 224 triliun. Angka tersebut naik 4% dari burden sharing pada APBN 2021 sebesar Rp 215 triliun.
