Bisnis.com, JAKARTA - Dolar AS naik tipis pada akhir perdagangan pada hari Rabu (4/8/2021) karena selera risiko memburuk di tengah meningkatnya jumlah infeksi Covid-19, mendorong peningkatan permintaan untuk mata uang yang aman (safe-haven).
Indeks dolar, yang mengukur greenback terhadap enam mata uang utama, naik 0,04 persen menjadi 92,0777.
Pada akhir perdagangan di New York, euro turun menjadi US$1,1863 dari US$1,1874 di hari sebelumnya, dan pound Inggris naik menjadi US$1,3915 dari US$1,3894 di hari sebelumnya. Dolar Australia naik menjadi US$0,7393 dari US$0,7365
Dolar AS dibeli pada 109,11 yen Jepang, lebih rendah dari 109,24 yen Jepang pada sesi sebelumnya. Dolar AS turun menjadi 0,9041 franc Swiss dari 0,9048 franc Swiss, dan naik menjadi 1,2537 dolar Kanada dari 1,2507 dolar Kanada.
