Moody's: Rasio Utang Terhadap GDP Global Tahun 2020, Tertinggi Pasca Perang Dunia II

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. Sepanjang tahun 2020, utang global (global debt) tumbuh sebanyak US$ 32 triliun. Menurut laporan Moody's Investors Service (Moody's) yang dirilis 7 Juni 2021, penyumbang terbesar kenaikan utang global tersebut bersumber dari utang pemerintah dan perusahaan non finansial.
Moody's menyebutkan utang pemerintah di seluruh dunia meningkat menjadi 105% terhadap gross domestic product (GDP) global di kuartal IV 2020. Angka ini meningkat drastis dari porsi debt to GDP utang pemerintah sebelum pandemi covid-19 yang masih di angka 88%.
