因检测试剂盒不足 东京奥运村部分运动员未能如期进行新冠病毒检测
据日本广播协会（NHK）23日报道，按照东京奥运会防疫手册的规定，运动员需要每天接受新冠病毒核酸检测。但由于检测试剂盒不足，本月19日入住奥运村的日本男子体操运动员以及海外运动员当天未能如期进行检测。
东京奥组委相关负责人在接受NHK采访时承认，本周初，多个奥委会报告称没有收到检测试剂盒，部分日期未能如期进行检测。但该负责人同时强调，通过第二天检测两次等错开检测时间的做法，确保了国家和地区间的公平性，并按照防疫手册规定的频率进行了检测。
该负责人表示，检测试剂盒将于24日大批量到货，届时将为所有国家和地区的代表团分发必要数量的试剂盒。
