Daya Beli Makin Tergerus Perpanjangan PPKM

KONTAN.CO.ID-JAKARTA. Daya beli masyarakat semakin tertekan sejalan dengan keputusan pemerintah memperpanjang Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) Darurat. Untuk itu, pemerintah perlu memperkuat bantuan sosial untuk mempertahankan daya beli masyarakat.
Data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) mencatat, rerata inflasi inti bulanan yang menggambarkan daya beli masyarakat enam bulan pertama tahun ini hanya bergerak pada kisaran 0,12%. Angka ini jauh lebih rendah dari rerata inflasi inti periode yang sama tahun 2019 yang sebesar 0,34%.
