俄主管部门要求脸书和推特限期实现用户数据本地化
当地时间5月26日，俄罗斯联邦通讯、信息技术和传媒监督局副局长瓦格涅尔表示，脸书、推特和其他社交网站必须在7月1日前本地化俄罗斯用户的网络数据库。如违反这一要求，上述公司将面临最高可达1800万卢布的罚款。
2015年9月1日生效的俄罗斯《个人数据法》规定，俄罗斯公民的个人数据必须保存在俄罗斯境内。俄联邦通讯、信息技术和传媒监督局将根据法庭判决把违反规定的网站列入特别清单，如果拒绝改正，其将被直接关停。
目前已有600多家外国公司依法在俄罗斯实现了数据库的本地化。俄联邦通讯、信息技术和传媒监督局此前多次要求脸书和推特本地化用户数据，均未获得回应。
