KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. Pemerintah berambisi menggalakkan pemanfaatan gas bumi. Namun dalam kondisi pemenuhan infrastruktur pipa gas untuk kebutuhan pelanggan industri dan pelanggan rumah tangga yang masih terkendala, beberapa proyek justru berhenti karena tak ada pasokan gas.
Sumber KONTAN bercerita, proyek pipa Gresik-Semarang (Gresem) sepanjang 267 kilometer (km) sebenarnya sudah selesai dibangun oleh Pertagas dengan investasi Rp 3,5 triliun. Namun belum ada pasokan gas sehingga proyek pipa itu terkesan sia-sia.
