这家公司的工匠们做出了世界上第一块有品牌的手表，时间是1735年，那年乾隆皇帝登基了。
乾隆的王朝早就不见了，他们还在做手表。工匠们在这个叫侏罗山脉的的瑞士山区里做手表。286年来，他们还在这里做手表。
1980年代，日本人做出了石英表，整个瑞士有十万表匠失业、数千家表厂倒闭。
但是这里的工匠们一直在坚持。他们坚持只做机械表，而且做出了全世界最复杂的那块机械表。我在它的制表工坊见过1735“表王”。
他们做表，不是为了满足世界，而是为了满足自己以及那些欣赏他们的少数人。
他们在最小的面积上雕刻时间，在时间里衰老、重生，在与时间的对话中赞美时间、抵抗时间，他们是时间的规则制定者。
