美国梅西百货将于今年关闭45家门店
央视财经 1月7日消息，据道琼斯旗下的新闻网站Market Watch 6日报道，美国梅西百货5日已经通知旗下45家百货店的员工，公司将在今年年中以前关闭这些商店。据了解，此前公司宣布计划三年内关闭125家效益最差的门店，并已于去年关闭了约30家门店，未来公司将专注于效益更好的门店。新冠肺炎疫情使某些以商场为基础的连锁店影响惨重，被迫关门也需要加倍发展其线上业务。
截至5日当天收盘，梅西百货股票涨超1.5%，报11.39美元。梅西百货股价在2020年遭受重创，全年下跌约35%，但在过去三个月又从低点飙涨了96%。梅西百货去年11月份公布的季度净亏损为9100万美元，低于此前预期。梅西百货共经营764家商店，其中有546家百货商店以“梅西”命名。
