据阿联酋《国家报》消息，阿联酋联邦政府人力资源管理局在近期召开新闻发布会上宣布，未接种疫苗的阿联酋政府雇员必须从1月17日起每两周（14天）接受一次PCR测试，这是政府努力限制病毒传播、保护员工健康和确保工作场所安全的措施的一部分。未接种疫苗的政府工作人员将自己支付检测费用，除非他们能提交相关医疗报告，证明自己因为有某些疾病而暂时不能接种疫苗。在这种情况下，雇主必须承担测试费用。
另外，阿联酋迪拜卫生局（DHA）宣布，与新冠患者有密切接触的居民和游客必须接受10天的家庭隔离，即使他们没有出现任何症状。密切接触者包括那些在感染患者身边两米以内停留超过15分钟的人。同时，迪拜卫生当局也宣布，某些患者的隔离期已经从最初的14天缩短至10天。缩短后的10天隔离期适用于检测呈阳性后未出现任何症状的患者，以及轻度患者。而中度、重度或病重患者，只有在连续两次PCR测试中结果为阴性（相隔24小时）时，他们才能出院。这类患者在出院后应自我隔离7天。如果在出院后两周内再次出现症状，他们应重新接受治疗。（总台记者 龚明）
